Transitioning
The projects that informed the body of work for "The Digital Tourist"
Equivalents
Informed by the shift in our occupant of spaces within the domestic realm, "Equivalents" is a series of collages that merges the spaces used pre and during COVID-19 in the public and private spheres.

By drawing a parallel to the substituted public spaces that we are accustomed to using every day to perform our daily tasks, the two interiors are morphed into one, creating a reflected view of the two contrasting spaces.
Simultaneity

By investigating the merging of the physical and digital realm, "Simultaneity" uses a glass screen and its reflections to examine the notion of being two places at once, similarly to how we are always online and offline.

The series of photographs are made by the movement of bi-fold doors which separates the interior and exterior, alike the screen as the in-between of the physical and digital worlds. Through movement and the changing reflections, it depicts momentary interiors that shows a fabricated reality, replicating the the idea of the digital realm being a controlled and orchestrated environment.
Using glass as a material to explore simultaneity, the reflections and what can be seen through its transparency challenges the real and unreal as what seen as the reflected is real however at the same time, the morphing of the two views create an unreal view. This leads to the question: is something real just because we can see it through the screen of our devices?
